We’re looking to hire more couriers. We deliver large items like this king-size mattress, to small envelopes with important documents.
Are you satisfied in the job you have now? Or are do you want to do something that is more in your control including your schedule and work environment? Or are you getting ready to retire and want to still stay active and earn some income?
We at On Time Logistics are hiring. Or to better describe it, we’re partnering with fellow entrepreneurs for them to provide contract courier services. We’re getting into our busiest time of year and expect amazing growth in 2015 so we’re excited to grow our family to better accommodate the growing needs in Northwest Arkansas, Tulsa and Little Rock.
About a year ago, we shared on our blog about what clients should expect from their contract courier when that person comes knocking on the door. Besides the obvious professional attributes such as clean uniforms, timely deliveries, a courier who is at least 21 years old and someone who has passed a background check, we have several other key elements we seek in our couriers.
Do any of these apply to you?
- Entrepreneurial spirit-Each courier is an independent, self-employed entrepreneur with a drive to succeed. It isn’t “just another job” for them; this is their business. We contract with these business owners to provide the highest quality service for our clients.
- Team player-Another important quality in a courier is their ability to work well on a team. Not only the ability, but the desire. While each courier is self-employed, the couriers work together to make sure they meet the needs of our logistics clients.
- Positive attitude-A third quality we look for in a contract courier is a positive attitude. Delivering the clients documents or products on time isn’t enough. We want it done with a cheerful, professional spirit.
